So uh. Idk why but I like doing these blogs.

Anyways,

October been very rough with me, a lot of social and personal stuff doing on and school isn't helping at the slightest (I have two papers due this weekend that I barely worked on) but I have been doing a lot for myself. Though a lot of the things I have been doing is nothing but working on an short animation, playing NG games, and trying to put some effort into my homework (I'm not really falling behind but I'm barely holding on).

Hey, there's a lot in my life putting me down but I'm making the best of what I got. I'm also looking at the positive for a change, I just found out a band I loved back in high school released a new album and now my playlist is just FILLED with their songs (from their new and older albums). Plus I found their newest album on vinyl (Now if only if I can find What Separates Me From You or Homesick on Vinyl...)

Also like I said, I'm working on a short animation. I got this idea from a tiktok I found one night and just said "lmao I wanna recreate it into an animation" and so far it's going well. I made really good progress on it (this said progress should've gone to my homework but screw it) Anywho. I won't bore you much longer with my text. I might do these blogs things more often cuz sometimes. I just need to write lol

But before I go, let me show you a wip of my animation. Hopefully, this doesn't spoil too much

Today, I hit 50 fans here on Newgrounds. Which might not be a lot from an outsider perspective but it defiantly a huge thing for me. I never exacted to get to this point here on Newgrounds, maybe cause at first I wasn't sure if I was gonna stay on Newgrounds.

I used Instagram a lot for my art before and I thought Newgrounds was something that I was gonna give up on after a few months, but the more stuff I did and partake, I started to realize that I love to stay on Newgrounds a lot more then Instagram.

This month has been pretty shitty for me. I lost a lot of friends and had to leave groups that I was happy in due to personal issues. So something like 50 fans on Newgrounds makes me really happy, knowing all the friends I made here and every person who supported me this far is amazing to me.

Hopefully I can keep making stuff here. I really do mean it that I appreciate everyone who supported me so far (Even friends outside of NG). Also it means a lot more to me since this is the first time I actually stepped out of fan-art into oc art, seeing people enjoy Moxxy, Ryan, and the other ocs I have made so far is also a motivator of mine.

Hey so this is a different type of post, I decided to write some facts about my oc Moxxy. This is will in a work in process but I hope you like it so far.

(Her Backstory still going though some works and I decided that I'll talk about it later)

Small facts about Moxxy:

• Moxxy's birthday is May 23
• Without her glasses she is super blind and can only make up shapes. She had broken a few pairs of glasses on the job.
• Likes to drink tea, her favorite kind is super sweet orange tea
• Prefers daggers over guns. She likes to get up close and personal
• One of her weird phrases she said is “Jinkies!” because of Velma from Scooby Doo
• Really good with technology (One of her earlier concepts she was an engineer)
• Her glasses have a tint, you can’t see her eyes but she can see yours. 
• She is cold-blooded, she can barely hold heat. Though she prefers cold weather and tends to sleep in the cold with some warm blankets
• Unlike most monsters, she was born with the same color hair and skin, which is greyish dark blue
• Her blood is bright red, in some light it can glow
• She has athazagoraphobia, the fear of being forgotten
• She's pretty stubborn, if she doesn't get it right the first time she will continue to do it until she feels like it's enough. This had gotten her in trouble a few times though
• Due to having the lack of friends, it takes her longer to trust people. Let alone call someone a friend.
• Her favorite kind of music is rock, she also owns a lot of records and cds
• She's surprisingly good at billiard
• She ends up overworking herself often, though her job usually isn’t weekly she gets very tired and usually sleeps for the rest of the night after work.
• Her job is a nighttime job, which is perfect for her since she’s a night owl

Ok I know I have been off for a bit just because I was both busy with stuff. Like going to a convention and moving into my apartment in college.

My first day of school was yesterday and I had a pretty decent day, nothing too special.

Sadly, I did accidentally left one of my important cords for my drawing tablet so I was out of a tablet for a few days, with this said I, unfortunately, will have to skip round 4 animation jam since there is no way I'll be able to finish the video on time. I might post what I have as a gif or something just because I did work pretty hard on this but I became super stressed out and due to me losing one of my cords on my tablet I decided it's better to skip this round. Good luck to the ones who are joining though!

Anyways, I must head back to homework. Hopefully, I'll post more art soon here.

Did it feel like the summer passed too fast or is it just me?

Besides that, It's now August and I am set to head back to college on the 22nd. But since I have been a lot more stressed as of late. Usually, I try not to be super moody when I'm stressed but the last few days have been rough, even to a point where the littlest of things had thrown me into a moody loop.

But I'm not here to rant about my emotions, since again I like talking about them to others in private and Newgrounds is a place where I want to keep it fun and be able to let go of that stress but again I'm just having a tough time and just wanted to say that here on my post.

I have so many things I want to do in a short amount of time, so I just want to say, I might lay off some ideas until I have a chance to work on them while balancing my studies. Again other projects that I'm working with friends with I'm still gonna help, don't worry.

You might've noticed (If you look through my Instagram or here lately) that I have been obsessing over a certain character. Honestly, I'll say this when I'm stress I tend to hold on to things that make me happy, it's not that I abandon the other characters (or even my ocs) It's just that this character makes me happy now and I'm sorry you have to deal with my obsession.

I'll keep posting here on Newgrounds and on my Instagram since I love sharing my art, just wanted to make a post since might be more out of it for the next few weeks and such. Once I am settled at my dorm in college, I'll feel more relaxed.
